Wenchie sent me a reminder that ÅoÅ is ten years old today! So I thought I'd stop in and offer congratulations on a decade as a gaming community. Congratulations also to CftM!, GoD, and the rest of the original guilds of Archmage that are still in operation.
As for me, I'm still quite busy with ÅoÅ in World of Warcraft, along with several other founding members, and kor has joined us too. If y'all care to join us or just stop in for a visit, the WoW message board is at http://wowaoa.forumco.com/
I don't plan on returning to TR in the foreseeable future because after last year's round of changes I just don't feel the passion for the game anymore, especially when I can spend my gaming time with ÅoÅ in WoW. I pop into Guild Wars once in a while as well. However I do miss y'all and all the good times. So, I hope to pursuade as many as possible to join us for WoW.  |

Wench is spending too much time contacting old farts like Grinch and me! I'll add my congrats to his and hoist one for good old memories.
As I told my old friend Wench, I won't be playing the game with all of you, but I'll try to drop by from time-to-time and see how you're doing.
My gaming these days is limited to duplicate bridge, which my wife and I play with some frequency. All is well with us - extended family is great. Grandkids were with us for a week this past summer, which was lots of fun.

| And a personal note to Wench: Have recently discovered a new (well, "new" to me - they've been around for a long time) musical group: "Schooner Fare." Their "Our Maine Songs" CD is worth a listen. If there are any folk music or Irish music fans out there, you should try them! |

From one old fart to you two old farts my oldest son (you guys knew him as Autologic) got married this August. In his speech he mentioned that his dad is like a kid. That I had joined him in a hobby (code for Archmage) and that he grew out of it and his dad not only stayed but has tried many times to get him back into it. I think that he grew out of it and so did you both. The trouble is I never played this game because of its graphics or non stop action I played it because I have made friends that in many cases I only know as on-line persona.
Could we use a little help (hell yeah) but only if the passion still lives. Somewhere down it that retired soul of your Druideen beat the wings of dragon waiting to lay waste to some poor unsuspecting newb and on the UBB there is still a need for a strong voice for fare play and sportsmanship Grinch.
We have lost some long time people in these last few years and I sad to see them leave. People like Khayless Kor Sexslave Blacksol Mith just to name a few.
I half expect to see Iuzi and Joat116 on this thread next. We are still in our tenth year and before we shut down for good I hope some of you retired Angels might entertain the idea of one final campaign. Who knows the changes are not that bad I still can't rank but I can still war with the best of them.
Good to know you two are alive and that life is treating you well and my admonishment is only tongue and cheek (but I am sure you knew that).  |
